New Director for the NAES Advisory Board

Dave Johnson just announced that Scotty Rollins has been appointed as a Director for the NAES Board. Scotty has been involved in Thoroughbred horse racing business for over 30 years. Scotty is the son of the deceased NAES Board Member, Brad Rollins, who was killed in a horse accident in November, 2006. “Scotty brings NAES a wealth of racing background. We are honored to have his extensive background and expertise,” announced Mr. Johnson on August 5th, 2007.

Lexington, KY – The 20th Annual Conference on Equine Law was held just prior to the Kentucky Derby, May 3 – 5th, 2005. Approximately 150 attorneys were in attendance and heard NAES’ Dave Johnson speaking about horse valuation and prospecting for experts in horse matters. In addition, Mr. Johnson related actual case histories from his over 15 year background in the legal expert business. Other speakers included Richard Craigo, Esq., Paul Husband, Esq., speaking on tax aspects of horse ownership and Julie Fershtman, Esq., on equine mortality insurance policies.
